Target Information
Interferons are important therapeutic agents due to their antitumor, antiviral, and immunomodulatory effects. These cytokines exert their function by binding to the Type I Interferon Receptor (IFNAR1). Downregulation of IFNAR1, influenced by phosphorylation at Serine 535 and 539, regulates cytokine signaling magnitude and duration.
