Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

Target: NR4A1 (Nur77)

NR4A1 belongs to the steroid-thyroid hormone-retinoid receptor superfamily. It is expressed in brain, adrenal, thyroid, liver, testis, ovary, thymus, muscle, lung, and prostate. Expression is induced by stress stimuli and growth factors.
This nuclear transcription factor mediates apoptotic signaling in thymocytes and tumor cells and participates in hypothalamic-pituitary axis signaling. Translocation from nucleus to mitochondria triggers apoptosis.
Three transcript variants encoding two isoforms have been identified. Variant 3 (TRC beta) differs from variant 1, producing isoform b with a distinct C-terminus. RXR is known as a partner for NR4A1.
