Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
CTCF is a ubiquitously expressed transcriptional factor containing 11 zinc finger domains. It plays key roles in gene regulation such as transcriptional repression/activation, gene silencing, chromatin insulation, and regulation of imprinted sites.
CTCF interacts with the CCCTC motif on DNA and with HAT/HDAC complexes to modulate transcription. It regulates genes including APPB, c-myc, Pax6, and IRAK2, and contributes to chromatin insulation at loci like beta-globin, DMI, IGF2, and H19.
Mutations in CTCF have been associated with several cancers, including breast, prostate, and Wilms’ tumor.
