Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

The E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase NEDD4 is a Ubl conjugation pathway protein containing one HECT (E6AP-type E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase) domain and four WW domains.
It is involved in the degradation pathway of VEGFR-2/KDFR, independently of its ubiquitin-ligase activity, and functions as a potential proto-oncogene that negatively regulates PTEN via ubiquitination.
NEDD4 is also implicated in viral budding and regulation of epithelial Na⁺ channels, contributing to arterial hypertension.
It localizes to the sarcolemmal region of muscle fibers, where increased expression is associated with muscle unloading and denervation, and decreased Notch1 expression, thus acting as a down-regulator of Notch-1 gene expression.
