Target Information
Perlecan은 모든 기저막과 세포 표면에서 발견되는 주요 heparan-sulfate proteoglycan(HSPG)입니다. 성장인자를 저장하고 보호하는 능력 덕분에 종양 세포 성장 및 전이 행동 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Perlecan은 기본 섬유아세포 성장인자(FGF-2)의 공수용체로 작용하여 혈관신생 및 성장 촉진 특성을 보입니다. Perlecan 억제는 종양 성장과 신생혈관 형성을 현저히 감소시킵니다. 따라서 Perlecan은 종양 진행의 주요 조절자로서 치료적 개입의 중요한 표적이 될 수 있습니다.
