Product Specific Information
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45510 was sufficient for detection of VGLUT2 in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 60 kDa protein.
- This antibody was formerly sold as clone S29-29.
Target Information
VGLUT2 mediates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells. It may also mediate the transport of inorganic phosphate.
