Product Specific Information
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45508 was sufficient for detection of VGLUT2 in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 60 kDa.
- Formerly sold as clone S29-29.
Target Information
VGLUT2 mediates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells. This protein may also mediate the transport of inorganic phosphate.
