Target Information
The SWI-SNF complex is involved in transcription activation through ATP-dependent nucleosome remodeling. Brm (SNF2alpha) and Brg-1 (SNF2beta) are ATPase subunits of this complex. Core components include Brm, Brg-1, Ini1 (SNF5), BAF155 (SRG3), and BAF170. Addition of Ini1, BAF155, and BAF170 enhances remodeling activity, while other subunits may have regulatory roles. hSNF2L and hSNF2H are homologs of Drosophila ISWI, present in other chromatin remodeling complexes such as NURF.
