Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B/C (VAPB) is a type IV membrane protein encoded by the VAPB gene located on human chromosome 20. It is found in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes, existing as homodimers and heterodimers with VAPA. It interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2, and may play a role in vesicle trafficking.
