Description:
The KJ1-26 anti-idiotypic monoclonal antibody binds the T-cell receptor (TCR) expressed on DO11.10 and DO11.10.24 murine T cell hybridomas, but not on other tested hybridomas. The DO11.10 TCR recognizes an ovalbumin peptide in the context of I-A^d MHC molecules. This antibody and the DO11.10 model have been instrumental in elucidating T cell immunity mechanisms.

Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of DO11 cells. Recommended ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for best performance.

Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-822-49)
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54)
  Store up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal effect on brightness or FRET compensation.

Excitation / Emission / Laser:
488–561 nm excitation; 775 nm emission; compatible with Blue, Green, and Yellow-Green lasers.

Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

TCR DO11 (DO11.10) is a receptor found on lymphocytes of DO11.10 transgenic mice and hybridomas (DO11.10, DO11.10.24). It recognizes the C-terminal ovalbumin peptide (OVA 323–339) in the context of I-Ad MHC molecules.
Antibodies against DO11.10 are widely used to study T cell activation, development, and function.
