Target Information
UVRAG은 coiled-coil 구조를 가지며, PEST 도메인의 존재로 인해 대사적으로 불안정한 단백질로 예측됩니다. Beclin 1과 상호작용하여 자가포식을 활성화하고, 인간 대장암 세포의 종양형성을 억제합니다. UVRAG 유전자는 인간 염색체 11q13.5에 위치하며, xeroderma pigmentosum group C 세포의 자외선 감수성을 보완합니다. 이 유전자는 진화 과정에서 매우 보존되어 있으며, 세포 대사에서 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 추정됩니다. 염색체 이상은 좌우축 형성 이상과 관련이 있으며, 돌연변이는 대장암과 연관되어 있습니다. UVRAG 단백질은 인간의 뇌, 폐, 신장, 간에서 높게 발현됩니다.
