For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) prior to use.

Target Information

Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) is an intracellular heme-containing enzyme that catalyzes the oxidative cleavage of the indole ring of tryptophan, serotonin, and melatonin, leading to the production of kynurenines.
IDO1 is expressed in various human tissues, macrophages, and dendritic cells, and is induced by interferons (IFNs).
It plays a key role in antimicrobial defense by depleting tryptophan, thereby inhibiting the growth of viruses, bacteria, and parasites.
Additionally, IDO1 is involved in immunoregulation during infection, pregnancy, autoimmunity, transplantation, and cancer.
