Target Information
Cyclin D1 (PRAD-1, bcl-1)은 세포 주기 조절의 핵심 단백질로, CDK4 및 CDK6과 결합하여 Rb 단백질을 인산화함으로써 세포주기 진행을 조절합니다.
이 단백질은 다양한 인간 종양(특히 mantle cell lymphoma)에서 과발현되며, 세포 증식, 단백질 인산화, 지방세포 분화 등에 관여합니다.
Cyclin D1은 인간 11번 염색체의 CCND1 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, G1기 동안 합성되어 성장 인자 자극에 따라 CDK4/6 복합체를 형성합니다.
Cyclin D1의 불안정성은 유비퀴틴 매개 분해로 이어져 G1/S기 정지에 기여합니다.
Cyclin D1 단백질은 세포주기 전반에 걸쳐 단백질 양의 주기적 변화를 보이는 highly conserved cyclin family에 속합니다.
