The DJR2-4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human DR5 (also known as TRAIL-R2, Apo2, TRICK2, and KILLER).
DR5 binds to TRAIL, activates NF-kappaB, and induces TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. It is broadly expressed in normal tissues and several tumor cells.

The DJR2-4 (a.k.a. 7-8) antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of human MOLT-4 cell line and DR5-transfected cells.
Recommended use: ≤1 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Optimal performance should be determined by titration.
Purity: >90% (SDS-PAGE)
Aggregation: <10% (HPLC)
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered
Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER) is a death domain-containing receptor for TRAIL, mediating apoptosis through the TNF-receptor superfamily.
It can be activated by TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L and transduces apoptotic signals via FADD adaptor protein.
Two transcript variants and one non-coding transcript have been identified.
Overexpression induces apoptosis and activates NF-kappa-B.
DR5 is expressed in various cell types, notably in lymphocytes and spleen.
Associated diseases include squamous cell carcinoma and diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome.
