The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
This gene encodes type I adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide receptor, a membrane-associated protein homologous to the glucagon/secretin receptor family. It mediates biological actions of adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide 1 and is positively coupled to adenylate cyclase.
Alternative splicing generates four major splice variants, with expression documented in various tissues including adipose, adrenal, bone, brain, colon, ganglion, heart, lung, ovary, pancreas, placenta, spleen, and uterus. ESTs have been isolated from brain and nerve libraries.
