Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the RING zinc finger protein family found in striated muscle and iris. The protein localizes to the Z-line and M-line lattices of myofibrils, where titin’s N-terminal and C-terminal regions bind to the sarcomere. It also binds directly to titin near the region containing kinase activity. Another family member binds to microtubules, suggesting these proteins may link titin kinase and microtubule-dependent signaling pathways in muscle.
