Target Information
CPA1 (Carboxypeptidase A1)은 419 아미노산으로 구성된 단량체 분비 단백질로, 췌장에서 고도로 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 아연을 보조인자로 사용하여 다양한 단백질의 C-말단 아미노산을 절단하는 췌장 외펩티다아제로 작용하며, 단백질 소화 및 분해에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 CPA1은 효소 활성화 경로를 차단하는 전구효소 억제에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
CPA1의 비정상적 발현은 췌장암과 관련이 있으며, 종양 진행 또는 억제에 관여할 가능성이 제시되고 있습니다.
