Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody m2a-15F8 recognizes Mouse IgG2a antibodies and is used as a secondary reagent in microscopy.
It does not cross-react with other mouse isotypes or rat immunoglobulins.

- Immunohistochemical staining of frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections
- Immunocytochemistry
Applications Tested:
Validated for IHC and ICC at ≤5 µg/mL. Optimal performance requires titration.
Not validated for flow cytometry.
Filter Recommendation:
Use filters capturing the 570 nm emission wavelength (e.g., Excitation 545/25, 565LP, Emission 605/70).
Standard Alexa Fluor® 555 or TRITC filters are acceptable.

Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with defined specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies and enable versatile detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Signal amplification increases sensitivity as multiple secondary antibodies bind to one primary antibody.
Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled mouse immunoglobulins and purified via immunoaffinity chromatography.
