For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate Kinase M2) catalyzes the conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate and ATP.
It interacts with thyroid hormone, potentially mediating cellular metabolic effects induced by thyroid hormones.
PKM2 also binds to Opa protein, a bacterial outer membrane protein involved in gonococcal adherence and invasion of human cells, suggesting a role in bacterial pathogenesis.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms of PKM2 have been reported.
