Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD13 (ANPEP) is a 150–170 kDa type II transmembrane zinc-binding ectopeptidase expressed on various cell types.
It catalyzes removal of neutral amino acids from small peptides, regulating activation or inactivation of bioactive peptides.
CD13 participates in extracellular matrix degradation, antigen processing, signal transduction, inflammatory responses, cell motility, and vascularization.
It is expressed by granulocytes, monocytes, myeloid leukemia cells, and its expression correlates with poor prognosis in carcinomas.
CD13 functions as an aminopeptidase enzyme and serves as an alpha receptor for coronavirus.
