Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, followed by screening for optimal clones.
Key advantages:

  • High specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

CDK5 (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 5) is a kinase most abundant in the mammalian brain. The active form is a heterodimer of CDK5 and a 25 kDa protein derived from a 35 kDa neuron-specific protein, essential for kinase activity.
CDK5 regulates neuronal migration in the developing central nervous system and phosphorylates multiple substrates, influencing processes such as:

  • Cell adhesion and motility
  • Synaptic plasticity
  • Drug addiction mechanisms

For Research Use Only.
Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
