Target Information
The HSP70 family consists of four highly conserved proteins: HSP70, HSC70, GRP75, and GRP78.
GRP75 is localized in the mitochondrial matrix, where it assists in the translocation and folding of nascent polypeptide chains from both nuclear and mitochondrial origins.
Unlike HSP70, GRP75 and GRP78 are not induced by heat stress but are upregulated under glucose deprivation conditions.
