Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

Saraf encodes a protein that negatively regulates store-operated Ca(2+) entry (SOCE), protecting cells from Ca(2+) overload.
Upon cytosolic Ca(2+) elevation after ER Ca(2+) refilling, it promotes slow inactivation of STIM1/2-dependent SOCE activity, possibly by facilitating STIM de-oligomerization to turn off ORAI channels when ER Ca(2+) levels are sufficient, thus preventing excessive Ca(2+) influx.
