Target Information
AKT1 (PKB alpha)는 세포 생존을 조절하는 serine/threonine kinase입니다. 활성화된 효소는 다양한 세포 유형에서 여러 표적을 인산화하여 세포주기 진행을 촉진하고 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 억제합니다. 인슐린, PI3K, IGF1 등 다양한 성장 및 생존 인자에 의해 활성화되며, forkhead transcription factors 및 caspase-9 등의 표적을 인산화함으로써 세포 생존을 촉진합니다. AKT 경로는 암 치료제 개발의 주요 타깃으로 알려져 있습니다.
