이 항체는 STAT1의 tyrosine-701 인산화 형태에 특이적으로 반응하며, 다른 STAT 단백질의 인산화 형태나 기타 내인성 인산화 단백질과는 교차 반응을 거의 보이지 않습니다.
특이성은 다음 실험으로 확인되었습니다:
- STAT1 및 JAK1 발현 벡터를 이용한 293 세포 lysate Western blot
- IFNa로 자극된 mouse embryo fibroblast lysate Western blot
- EGF로 자극된 A431 세포 lysate Western blot

STAT1 (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 1)
STAT1은 세포 성장, 아폽토시스, 면역 반응 및 지질 대사에 관련된 유전자 발현을 조절하는 전사 인자입니다.
- 활성화 인자: IFN-α, IFN-γ, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등
- 위치: 인간 염색체 2번
- 기능: JAK kinase에 의해 인산화된 후 핵으로 이동하여 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절
- 활성화되는 주요 STATs: STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, STAT5b
- 리간드: IFN family (IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10), gp130 family (IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), RTKs (EGF, PDGF, CSF-1)
STAT1은 두 가지 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 변형을 가집니다.
