  Human (100%), Gorilla / Orangutan / Gibbon (95%), Monkey (90%), Marmoset (85%)
• For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
• After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

ADAMTS-1 is a member of the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif) protein family.
Members of this family share distinct protein modules including:

• Propeptide region
• Metalloproteinase domain
• Disintegrin-like domain
• Thrombospondin type 1 (TS) motif

Individual members differ in the number of C-terminal TS motifs, and some have unique C-terminal domains.
ADAMTS-1 contains two disintegrin loops and three C-terminal TS motifs and exhibits anti-angiogenic activity.
Its expression may be associated with inflammatory processes and cancer cachexia.
This gene is important for normal growth, fertility, and organ morphology and function.
