Target Information
IdU(Idoxuridine)는 핵산 유사체로, 변형된 deoxyuridine 형태입니다.
바이러스 DNA 복제 과정에 통합될 수 있으나, uracil에 첨가된 요오드 원자가 염기쌍 형성을 차단합니다.
심장 독성으로 인해 국소적으로만 사용되며, 1950년대 후반 William Prusoff에 의해 합성되었습니다.
