Target Information
USP7 (HAUSP)는 유비퀴틴 특이적 프로테아제(deubiquitylating enzyme)로, 기질 단백질로부터 유비퀴틴을 절단하여 단백질 안정성을 조절합니다.
HAUSP는 종양 억제 단백질 p53의 E3 유비퀴틴 리가아제인 Mdm2의 직접적인 길항제로 알려져 있으며, p53의 안정화에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 Myc 및 E1A와 같은 온코진에 의해 유도되는 p53 활성화 경로에도 관여할 수 있으며, 세포가 스트레스나 발암 자극에 반응할 때 p53을 보호하는 기능을 수행합니다.
