Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature (RT).
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, then cool at RT for 20 min.
Target Information
IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) is part of the type I cytokine receptor family. It forms a heterodimer with the common beta subunit (CDw131) to transmit the Interleukin-3 signal.
Heterodimerization of IL-3Ra and IL-3Rb chains is induced by Interleukin-3 and is essential for receptor activation.
IL-3Ra is overexpressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts compared to normal hematopoietic cells, making it a potential therapeutic target.
