Product Specific Information

The 3.9 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD11c, the 150 kDa integrin alphaX chain. CD11c non-covalently associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer, expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages, NK cells, dendritic cells, and subsets of T and B lymphocytes.
CD11c/CD18 binds CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, playing a role in leukocyte adhesion interactions.

• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Applications Tested: Normal human peripheral blood cells; ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Antibody titration recommended for optimal performance.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

CD11, together with CD18, forms a heterodimer adhesion molecule.

• CD11a: Expressed in B/T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils
• CD11b: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B/T cells, granulocytes
• CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and a subset of lymphocytes
