Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody SolA15 recognizes mouse and rat Ki-67, a 300 kDa nuclear protein expressed during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis), but absent in resting cells (G0).
Ki-67 is used as a marker for determining the growth fraction of cell populations and is valuable in tumor prognosis studies.
SolA15 also reacts with human, non-human primate, and canine Ki-67.

Applications Reported: Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated mouse splenocytes using Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set (Product #00-5523-00).
Recommended usage ≤ 0.06 µg per test (100 µL final volume).
Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during G1, S, G2, and M phases, associated with euchromatin and heterochromatin regions.
It serves as a reliable proliferation marker since it is absent in G0 cells and increases through mitosis.
Ki-67 antibodies are widely used to assess cell growth fractions in neoplasms and have strong correlation with tumor grade and prognosis.
Commonly used as a neuronal marker for cell cycling and proliferation.
