- No cross-reactivity observed with recombinant human Carbonic Anhydrase 2, 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 7, 8, 9, recombinant mouse Carbonic Anhydrase 12, and 14 in Western blot assays.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is one of several isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. It is found only in salivary glands and saliva, and may play a role in the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide, though its function in saliva is not fully understood.
