- Predicted to react with mouse based on sequence homology.
- On non-reducing gel, intact IgG appears as ~150 kDa band; upon reduction, generates ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain bands.

Target Information
Hiwi (PIWIL1) is a member of the Piwi/Argonaute protein family.
It is specifically expressed in germline cells such as spermatocytes and round spermatids during spermatogenesis.
Hiwi is also expressed in CD34⁺ hematopoietic progenitors, but not in CD34⁻ hematopoietic cells, suggesting a role in maintaining hematopoietic stem cells.
