For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

RARA (Retinoic Acid Receptor Alpha) acts as a receptor for retinoic acid and forms heterodimers with RXR to bind retinoic acid response elements (RARE). These complexes regulate gene expression in response to retinoic acid ligands such as all-trans or 9-cis retinoic acid.
In the absence of ligand, RXR-RAR heterodimers associate with transcriptional corepressors causing chromatin condensation and transcriptional suppression. Upon ligand binding, corepressors dissociate and coactivators are recruited, leading to transcriptional activation.
RARA is crucial for retinoic acid-induced germ cell development and spermatogenesis, skeletal growth, and matrix homeostasis. It regulates gene expression by recruiting chromatin complexes containing KMT2E/MLL5 and mediates retinoic acid-induced granulopoiesis.
