Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질 내에서 DNA와 결합하는 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 네 가지 핵심 히스톤 단백질과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성 유지에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
히스톤은 번역 후 다양한 방식으로 변형되어 크로마틴 구조를 직접적으로 변화시키거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 조절합니다. Histone H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 뉴클레오솜 코어에서 돌출되어 있으며, 메틸화, 아세틸화, 인산화 등의 변형을 통해 세포 내 여러 과정을 조절합니다.
