For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CDKN2A gene produces multiple transcript variants differing in their first exons.

• Two variants encode isoforms that inhibit CDK4 kinase.
• Another variant encodes an alternate open reading frame (ARF) protein that stabilizes the tumor suppressor p53 by binding to and sequestering MDM2, preventing p53 degradation.
  Despite structural and functional differences, these isoforms and the ARF product share a role in cell cycle G1 control.
  Mutations or deletions in this gene are common in various tumors, highlighting its significance as a tumor suppressor gene.
