Target Information

CDK13/cyclin K serine/threonine kinase is a dimeric protein complex.
CDK13 belongs to the cyclin-dependent serine/threonine protein kinase family, known for their essential roles in cell cycle control.
Although the exact function of CDK13 is not fully determined, it may play a role in mRNA processing and regulation of hematopoiesis.
Cyclin K is a member of the transcription cyclin family and may regulate transcription through activation of CDKs that phosphorylate the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II.
