Target Information
CDC2L6 is a component of the Mediator coactivator complex, which is essential for transcriptional activation by DNA-binding transcription factors of genes transcribed by RNA polymerase II. The encoded protein is similar to cyclin-dependent kinase 8, also a component of the Mediator complex.
