ALK receptor tyrosine kinase (anaplastic lymphoma kinase)는 insulin receptor 서브패밀리의 구성원으로, ALCL 관련 t(2;5) 염색체 재배열에서 NPM(nucleophosmin)과 융합될 때 변형 능력을 획득합니다.
여러 염색체 재배열로 인해 ALK 활성 증가가 보고되었으며, 이는 다양한 암 유형과 관련이 있습니다.
신경계에서 ALK는 리간드 존재 시 축삭 유도에 필수적이며, 리간드 부재 시 발달성 신경세포 사멸을 유도할 수 있습니다.
