Bach2 antibody is directed against mouse Bach2 (N-terminus) protein.
A BLAST analysis suggests 100% homology with Bach2 protein from mouse.
Reactivity against homologues from other species is not known.
Target Information
BTB and CNC homolog 2 (BACH2) is a transcriptional regulator that can act as a repressor or activator.
BACH2 binds to Maf recognition elements (MARE) and induces apoptosis in response to oxidative stress by repressing the antiapoptotic factor HMOX1.
