MA5-15707 targets CSK in indirect ELISA, FACS, IF, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse, Non-human primate, and Rat samples.
The MA5-15707 immunogen is a purified recombinant fragment of human CSK expressed in E. coli.
MA5-15707 detects CSK, which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 50 kDa.

Target Information

CSK is a tyrosine kinase that downregulates SRC oncoprotein activity through phosphorylation of its carboxy terminus. Since cell transformation by SRC is caused by mechanisms interfering with this phosphorylation, the CSK gene may function as an antioncogene.
CSK plays an important role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, migration, and immune responses. It phosphorylates tyrosine residues in the C-terminal tails of Src-family kinases including LCK, SRC, HCK, FYN, LYN, CSK, and YES1.
CSK is ubiquitously expressed as a ~50 kDa cytosolic protein, with a fraction localized to lipid rafts through interaction with PAG (Csk-binding protein).
