Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
P2Y1 is a purinergic receptor that induces platelet shape change and aggregation through ADP binding, activating phospholipase C and mobilizing intracellular calcium ions.
It mediates nitric oxide release and may modulate neuronal signal transmission.
P2Y1 is expressed in various tissues, especially the brain. ESTs have been isolated from human embryo, lung, and placenta libraries.
