Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
NLK is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction and cellular communication. It acts as a positive effector of the non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway, downstream of WNT5A, MAP3K7/TAK1, and HIPK2. Activation leads to binding and phosphorylation of SETDB1, forming a complex that interacts with PPARG to mediate histone H3K9 methylation and transcriptional silencing. This process inhibits adipogenesis and promotes osteoblastogenesis in mesenchymal stem cells.
NLK also negatively regulates canonical Wnt/beta-catenin, Notch, and MYB signaling pathways through phosphorylation and modulation of key transcription factors.
