Monoclonal rat IgG2a, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications Reported:
Rat IgG2a Isotype Control eFluor® 450 is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Target Information
Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass produced by the rat immune system. It can activate complement and mediate antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
Molecular weight is approximately 160 kDa, consisting of two heavy and two light chains.
Commonly used as a control or reference antibody in rat model experiments, including flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
