Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD24, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is GPI-anchored and expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid cells. CD24 is known to interact with P-selectin (CD62P).

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometry of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells to mature B cells. Expression is low or absent in plasma cells. It is found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
