For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

ErbB3 (c-erbB-3/HER-3) is a member of the type I family of growth factor receptors that binds to heregulin family ligands.
It is overexpressed in various tumors including prostate, bladder, breast, stomach, pancreas, and colon cancers.
Heregulin and EGF stimulate tyrosine phosphorylation of c-erbB-3 to varying degrees.
The ErbB3 gene, located on chromosome 12q13, encodes a 160/180 kDa glycoprotein.
It forms heterodimers with other EGF receptor family members, activating pathways involved in cell proliferation and differentiation.
Alternative splice variants exist, including a secreted isoform that modulates membrane-bound receptor activity.
