Target Information
MUC1 (Mucin 1, Episialin, MAM-6, CA 15-3, PEM, EMA)는 대부분의 선상 및 관상 상피세포와 일부 조혈세포 계통에서 발현되는 대형 세포 표면 점액질 당단백질입니다.
MUC1은 막관통형 당단백질로, 외부 도메인은 O-결합 글리칸이 다량 부착되어 있으며, 다양한 반복 수(30~90회)에 따라 분자량이 크게 달라집니다.
유방암 및 전이성 암의 >90%에서 MUC1의 과발현이 관찰되며, 세포 내 위치 변화 및 당화 이상이 암과 관련되어 있습니다. 또한 MUC1은 EGFR을 포함한 cebB 수용체들과 상호작용하며, 여러 스플라이싱 변형체를 생성합니다.
