Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sTRAIL/Apo2L. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human sTRAIL/Apo2L by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When paired with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human sTRAIL/Apo2L (500-P135) as the capture antibody, it detects at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant protein.

Western Blot:
For detection by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Detection limit is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

TRAIL is a cytokine belonging to the TNF ligand family. It selectively induces apoptosis in tumor cells while sparing normal cells. TRAIL interacts with receptors such as TNFRSF10A/TRAILR1, TNFRSF10B/TRAILR2, TNFRSF10C/TRAILR3, TNFRSF10D/TRAILR4, and TNFRSF11B/OPG.
Its signaling activates MAPK8/JNK, caspase 8, and caspase 3 pathways. TRAIL functions as a type II membrane protein and is expressed in various human tissues, playing a key role in apoptosis and NF-κB activation.
