Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Apolipoprotein M is a member of the lipocalin protein family and is associated primarily with high-density lipoproteins (HDL), and to a lesser extent with low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. The protein is secreted through the plasma membrane but remains membrane-bound, playing a role in lipid transport. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, with one fully characterized.
