Target Information
Fis1은 17 kDa의 막단백질로, 미토콘드리아 분열 기전에 관여하는 새로운 구성 요소입니다. 중심 leucine-zipper 도메인, coiled-coil 영역, tetratricopeptide 반복 도메인, 그리고 C-말단 막관통 도메인을 포함합니다.
Fis1은 인간 Fis1p(S. cerevisiae)의 상동체로, 외부 미토콘드리아 막에 위치합니다. DLP1 및 Mdv1p와 상호작용하여 Dnm1p의 기능적 분열 복합체로의 모집을 촉진하며, 세포자멸(apoptosis)을 유도합니다. 또한 퍼옥시좀의 성장과 분열에도 관여합니다. Fis1 결실은 apoptosis를 억제하고 미토콘드리아의 신장을 초래합니다.
